Introduction
TranSMART 2.0 is the working name of a new version of tranSMART, which addresses a number of architectural wishes that have been identified over the course of development of tranSMART 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2.
At the moment, tranSMART 2.0 is still in its infancy, and is developed in parallel with tranSMART 1.2, which is the currently stable and mature version of the platform.
TranSMART 2.0 is a community wide initiative that touches upon all 3 C's of the tranSMART Foundation, and its aim is to eventually create a natural successor to the current tranSMART 1.2 version. The initiative for tranSMART 2.0 was taken by the Architecture Working Group, but is moving forward in close collaboration with the Product Management Working Group and the broader tranSMART Community. Input from all stakeholders in the community is incredibly welcome!
